Wholegrain buckwheat flour has more protein, dietary fibre and B vitamins than an equal weight of oat or whole wheat flour and is an excellent source of potassium and essential amino acids. It is highly nutritious and easy to digest.


Product Description

Buckwheat flour is ground from Fagopyrum Esculentum, more commonly known as buckwheat. Although treated as a grain, buckwheat is not a cereal or grass, but it is actually a fruit that is closely related to wild rhubarb. To distinguish it from grains, it is sometimes called a pseudo cereal.

Wholegrain buckwheat flour is made by grinding unroasted buckwheat grains which are rich in micro and macro-elements such as: calcium, phosphorus, magnesium (maintains muscle health), iron, cobalt, copper and zinc. Products created from buckwheat flour additionally enrich our diet with B vitamins which help to keep the skin, hair and nails in perfect condition. It contains up to 10% fibre and it is also high in protein.
